Areas of Specialization

As a result of my education and training, I am a generalist capable of working with many kinds of clients and many different issues. Listed below are those categories I have the most experience and the highest level of comfort working with. If you don't feel that any of the categories below describe you well but you're interested in working with me nonetheless, please feel free to reach out to me regardless. No person can be reduced to a set of issues and identities, and research has shown that  the fit between therapist and client is one of the most important factors in therapeutic efficacy.

  • Gender and gender identity issues

  • Transgender and genderqueer issues

  • Addiction and sobriety

  • Borderline personality

  • Trauma, whether recent or past

  • Jewish issues

  • LGBTQ+ issues

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Codependency

  • Grief

  • Neurodivergency

  • Relationship issues

  • Sexual assault and abuse

I also enjoy working with psychotic clients and I welcome them to my practice.
